The TAIG nursing team, led by Vice President Lisa Adoni MBA, RN, provides medical care for approximately 350 consumers on an individual basis 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The team also coordinates dental, psychiatric, and therapeutic services for individuals who need these services.
At TAIG, the primary nursing focus is holistic healthcare which includes: health promotion, health maintenance, risk reduction, restoration, and end-of-life care. The delivery of care is provided through the utilization of principles from nursing, physical, biological, and social sciences to assist individuals achieve an optimal level of health.
In order to accommodate the shift in healthcare focus from disease and illness to health and wellness, the TAIG Nurses are always working to improve their knowledge and skills through classroom education and simulation labs.
