- TAIG celebrates its 25th anniversary of successfully supporting people with disabilities on July 1, 2009.
- Where is TAIG located?
- TAIG’s main office and day program are located at: 4700 Wissahickon Ave, Suite 100, Philadelphia, PA 19144. Parking lot is located off of Roberts Avenue.
- How long has management staff been with TAIG?
- TAIG’s CEO, Joseph Bucci, has been with the agency since its inception. Senior management staff has been with TAIG for an average of 10 years.
- Who will take care of the service recipients?
- Under the guidance of a TAIG manager, a trained Direct Support Professional will assist and support the individual on a daily basis.
- What are the qualifications of your staff?
- TAIG managers have various levels of advanced degrees in human services. Direct Support Professionals minimally have a high school diploma. All TAIG employees must participate in annual trainings to maintain their skills and knowledge.
- What programs does TAIG provide?
- TAIG has been authorized and qualified by the Department of Public Welfare, Office of Developmental Programs as well as
the City of Philadelphia to provide the following services for individuals with mental retardation, mental health and addiction
disabilities:
- Licensed and Unlicensed 1, 2, and 3 person Community Living Homes
- Licensed and Unlicensed 1 and 2 person Family Living Homes
- Licensed Adult Day Care
- Employment Supports – Job Finding and Job Supports
- In-Home and Community Habilitation
- TAIG has been authorized and qualified by the Department of Public Welfare, Office of Developmental Programs as well as
the City of Philadelphia to provide the following services for individuals with mental retardation, mental health and addiction
disabilities:
- Eligibility
- Be approved for services by the City of Philadelphia.
- Be authorized for funding by the City of Philadelphia or the State Office of Developmental Programs.
- Be able to benefit from and desire to be apart of TAIG services.
- Note: Private pay families are also welcome to obtain services through TAIG.
