Our greatest source of pride is TAIG’s 500+ employees who are the heart and soul of providing services for people with disabilities. TAIG cares for individuals at one of our 106 homes in Philadelphia or at the daytime adult program at 4700 Wissahickon Avenue in East Falls. We strive to be a place where people want to work by offering many opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. Our fine reputation is well known and we are proud that many second-generation family members work here.
Our direct support professionals provide a safety net for our most vulnerable population. At times they are friends, cheerleaders, advocates and caretakers. Through our recruitment effort, we seek the right person for the right job. We then provide comprehensive orientation and ongoing training each year so that our employees have the skills and knowledge to be successful in their jobs.
Our benefits include a contribution toward health insurance for you and your family, as well as life, dental, and disability insurances. All employees are encouraged to develop their professional skills, and tuition reimbursement is offered for continuing degreed education. TAIG makes contributions to eligible employees’ 403(b) retirement accounts, and employees are offered professional assistance in selecting investment options.
